Q: What's your best tip about running a business?
A: Success in running a business requires persistence, dedication and quality clients served by quality professionals. It is all about attention to detail and lots of luck!
Q: Describe a project you are particularly proud of completing.
A: During my time serving in the Oregon legislature, I drafted an initiative to increase tobacco taxes in Oregon which were dedicated to the Oregon Health Plan; we crafted the campaign and passed the measure.
Q: What do you like best about your job?
A: Diversity. We have great clients with multiple issues and a great group to address those needs.
Q: What is it really like to be a Pac/West team member?
A: Cool.
Q: Where do you go when you need an information fix?
A: I get on the Internet and make personal calls to those who are connected throughout the country.
Q: What sports do/did you play?
A: Football and track primarily.
Q: What attracted you to a career in public relations?
A: An internship in 1977 with then Senator Atiyeh opened my eyes and doors that I didn’t know existed.
Q: How often do you cut your hair? Describe your worst haircut.
A: I would rather not get my hair cut at all; but when I need to about every six weeks. I had a crew cut when I was young.
Q: What are the advantages/disadvantages of your height?
A: When I don’t want to be seen, it works perfectly. Occasionally, you want to be seen.

A: Mostly political folks such as President Reagan, Bush, etc.
Q: Who is the most famous person you’ve ever met?
A: Barbara Bush
Q: What kinds of movies do you like and why?
A: Westerns…especially John Wayne movies.
Q: If you could only watch one TV show this fall, what would it be?
A: Monday Night Football

A: Pepper

A: I went to the Hollywood Bowl to see Elton John.

Q: What do you like to do when you are not at work?
A: I'm an outdoors man.
Q: If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be and why?
A: New Zealand, because the people are great as are the country side and outdoor activities.
Q: If you knew could you try anything and not fail (and money was no object), what would you attempt to do?
A: Sail around the world.
Q: What super-power would you most like to have, and why?
A: Super-speed…so much to do and so little time.
Q: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
A: Pasta, because you can mix in other ingredients and totally change a meal.
Q: What is the furthest away/most impressive place you have traveled to?
A: Zimbabwe and/or Namibia

A: To hunt on six continents.
