Areas of Expertise: Healthcare and Medicaid policy, general business matters, multistate lobbying, alliance building, community outreach, and campaign finance. Rose has a remarkable talent to become versed in diverse issues and integrate into new legislative bodies in a short period of time.
Personal Interests: Ballet, visual arts, international travel, and outdoor activities including rock climbing, hiking and rollerblading.
Rose joined the Pac/West team with more than a decade of experience lobbying in the central United States. She started her career in Nashville, Tennessee, the healthcare epicenter of the country. Rose brings a breadth of experience from representing various client interests in ten states and has a broad background working on issues ranging from healthcare policy and traffic safety to telecommunications and environmental standards. Her greatest strength is her ability to work on both sides of the aisle with diverse delegations across the country.
Rose has represented Fortune 500 companies and small nonprofits with the same passion and levels of client service. She has scored major legislative, budgetary, and contracting wins in large markets such as Illinois and Georgia. Rose worked with legislators to pass landmark laws such as the mandatory seatbelt law and the lottery in Tennessee and has procured millions of dollars in health outreach funding for the greater Chicago area. She has also worked with pharmaceutical manufacturers and Medicaid agencies across the country on supplemental rebate strategies and Preferred Drug Lists.
Before starting her career in lobbying, Rose was the general manager of Via Lingua, an English teacher training center and business English school in Prague, Czech Republic. During her time there, she opened numerous schools in a dozen countries and lived in both the Czech Republic and the U.K.
Rose graduated Magna Cum Laude with B.A. in College Scholars: Lobbying from the University of Tennessee and a postgraduate degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (CTEFL). She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society.
