Personal Interests: Katie enjoys snowboarding, rafting, traveling, and assisting with grassroots organization for political campaigns.
While studying at The George Washington University, Katie assists Pac/West account managers by monitoring key issues in the press regarding national and state health care reform. Katie equips the team with valuable health policy research that aids in public outreach and issue advocacy.
Katie also attends Congressional committee hearings on Capitol Hill, providing the Pac/West team with updates on important legislative issues relevant to a variety of clients.
She served a three year term as a member of the Advisory Council to the Institute for Youth, Education, and Families with the National League of Cities. Katie worked closely with municipal leaders and various subject matter experts to identify and advocate for policy reform and research best practices pertaining to health care, education, and affordable housing. During her involvement with the National League of Cities, Katie was appointed to the Futures Panel for Democratic Governance advocating for issues such as transportation, workforce development, and health care; also developing strategies for engaging the community and its municipal government stakeholders.
Katie is currently attending The George Washington University, studying political science with a Pre-Med concentration. She is a member of Phi Eta Sigma, a National Freshman Honors Society.
