Jeff is one of our lobbyists in Salem. Since joining Pac/West, his focus has been on corporate tax, economic development and issues relating to local governments. He has been directly involved with the Oregon legislature’s discussions regarding the state-local economic development programs, transportation and infrastructure investments, and encouraging a healthy business climate through tactical tax packages such as the Strategic Investment Program. Jeff also leads the Pac/West Social Media Team.
Jeff grew up the son of a news director, spending much of his childhood experiencing the inner-workings of the Oregon media. While attending Oregon State University, he served as president of his college fraternity and worked with student associations, city and county governments, and local community organizations to improve campus livability. Also during this time, Jeff led efforts for PUSH America, a national nonprofit whose mission is to organize and facilitate community projects for individuals facing accessibility issues. Jeff remains active in both of these organizations through his role in the alumni association. Prior to joining Pac/West, Jeff worked as an assistant to U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley covering labor relations and communications.
Jeff has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Political Science with an emphasis on Political Economies from Oregon State University.
